House of Cards

I was invited to be one of the eight illustrators including artist Victo Ngai to participate in the "Together, Design Better" Campaign initiated by Modelo.io, an online 3D model platform start-up. An outline drawing of a basic house was given and we were encouraged to draw anything. My drawing represents a people’s collective imagination underscored by a common goal: the castle’s structural integrity. Each decision, each card, each move, can play a pivotal role in the cooperative environment. As construction spills out of the house’s frame, various scenes juxtapose everyday life with the magical, comedic and tragic; stages in a collaborative dream.
