Feifei is a multidisciplinary designer, crossing the boundaries between architecture and art. She explores the integration of the two that enables people to experience the unspeakable and arouses them to converse with the environment and themselves. She graduated from the Master of Architecture degree from MIT and received Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Design with honors from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney.
Feifei is the founding partner of Iso Ideas, an architectural research and design agency based in San Francisco; and the founder of Monoseason, a minimalist online lifestyle store. She previously worked in architecture firms including Kengo Kuma and Associates in Paris, Kennedy & Violich Architecture (KVA) in Boston, and Tonkin Zulaikha Greer (TZG) in Sydney. In recent years, Feifei held the role of project designer and manager at Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects in San Francisco
Feifei's architecture and artwork has been exhibited world wide, including the the Power Station of Art, Shanghai Himalayas Museum, Beijing Design Week, Biennale of Urbanism/ Architecture in Shenzhen China, ELL Gallery in San Francisco, USA , Design Tasmania and Object Gallery in Australia. Her work has been published on various online and print media including Archdaily, Time Architecture, World Architecture.
In her work, Feifei has always been interested in examining the cultural and social impacts of the built environment. Using the medium of drawing, she proposes alternative urban narratives that reevaluate our living environment, re-generate awareness and re-activate the mundane through productive frictions.
